For joining PVC pipes and fittings in water systems. Suitable for higher temperatures (> 35 ° C). Fits diameters ≤ 800 mm. Max. 16 bar (PN 16). Maximum tolerance 0.8 mm diametric clearance / 0.2 mm pressure fit. Suitable for pipe systems in accordance with EN1329, 1452, 1453, 1455 and ISO15493 (PVC).
Description
Instructions for mounting with adhesive
Apply a ring of glue about 5 mm from the edge of the pipe blank and inside the fitting part. There must be a continuous line of glue all the way around.
Assemble the parts with a pushing/twisting movement and continue the twisting movement until noticeable resistance is felt. The increasing resistance indicates the glue is ”gripping” but does not mean that the glue has set.
Remember to adjust the components which must sit precisely, with small twisting movements. Trying to make adjustments after the glue ”has set”, destroys the bond.
Wipe off any excess glue. Excess glue on the inside is neutralised by rinsing with plenty of water.
