Description

SolarBoard Solar Heater – Heating pool water with the power of the sun

With a SolarBoard from Swim & Fun, you can harness the sun’s rays to heat the bathing water in your garden pool. The solar heater can raise the water temperature by up to 5 °C depending on the number of sunlight hours, the sun’s intensity, and the water flow rate.

SolarBoard is particularly well-suited for smaller pools up to 5,000 litres and connects easily to your existing filter system. For larger pools, multiple SolarBoards can be connected in series. The included support legs ensure an optimal 30° angle for maximum exposure to sunlight.

Cold water is directed through the built-in pipe system, where it is heated by the sun before returning to the pool. To achieve the best possible result, we recommend using a by-pass kit and a thermal summer cover, both of which significantly reduce heat loss.

A by-pass kit allows you to divert the water around the solar heater at night or on cloudy days, preventing the warmed water from losing temperature unnecessarily. A thermal cover helps retain heat at the water’s surface, and wind protection around the pool can further reduce cooling.
