Description
The ultimate pool experience – with precise temperature control and stable heating
A heat pump transforms your pool experience, making it possible to enjoy comfortable water temperatures throughout more of the season – regardless of the weather. With inverter technology, the temperature of the pool water can be precisely regulated – for both heating and cooling. The temperature can be adjusted as needed – for example, for cold plunges or to cool the water on hot days. With a capacity of up to 9 kW and a maximum pool size of 45 m³, this heat pump is the ideal solution for anyone seeking efficient and flexible temperature control. A high COP value of up to 16 contributes to cost-effective operation. The low-noise function and the ability to control it remotely via Smart WiFi make operation easy and comfortable. Its durable design and minimal maintenance requirements make this heat pump a reliable long-term solution.

Why choose an inverter heat pump instead of a traditional model?
At first glance, a Swim & Fun inverter heat pump may seem like a bigger investment – but it quickly pays off in comfort and running costs.
Traditional heat pumps run at full power before switching off completely. This leads to higher energy consumption and faster wear on components.
An inverter heat pump adjusts the speed of both compressor and fan automatically, keeping the pool temperature stable with minimal energy use.
The result is reduced electricity consumption, quieter operation and extended lifespan – all without compromising comfort.
Unmatched efficiency with a high COP value
The Swim & Fun inverter heat pump excels with a high COP value – a key factor for energy efficiency. This 9 kW inverter achieves a COP of up to 16 under optimal conditions, meaning that 1 kWh of electricity is converted into 16 kWh of heat energy for the pool water. A high COP value is a clear indicator of the pump’s ability to use energy efficiently. Up to 80% of the energy comes directly from the air, with only around 20% sourced from the power grid. This provides a cost-effective and eco-friendly way to heat your pool.
Extend the pool season – even when temperatures drop
A Swim & Fun inverter heat pump can significantly extend the swimming season – often from early spring to well into autumn. The heat pump is designed to operate at outdoor temperatures as low as -12 °C**, enabling comfortable water temperatures even on cold days. The built-in auto-defrost function ensures stable and efficient operation, even when the weather fluctuates.
Smart WiFi and user-friendly display – full control over your pool
The intuitive display makes it easy to configure the pump directly at the poolside. The heat pump also comes with integrated Smart WiFi, so you can control it via an app – no matter where you are. Adjust temperature and operating mode from your smartphone and ensure the pool is always ready when you are.
Three operating modes – tailored to your comfort and needs
The heat pump offers three operating modes so you can choose the setting that best suits your usage and energy needs:
Powerful mode – Maximum output for fast and efficient heating
Smart mode – Automatic adjustment between medium and full power for the perfect balance between comfort and efficiency
Silent mode – Low or medium output for quiet operation and stable temperature
Heating and cooling – adapted to your needs
With a temperature setting range from 8 to 40 °C, this inverter unit can both heat and cool your pool water. This means you can adjust the water temperature to suit your needs – for example, for cool dips or to reduce the temperature on hot summer days. Both heating and cooling performance are affected by outdoor temperatures, and on very hot days it may not be possible to reach the lowest cooling setting.
Using the heat pump during colder months
The heat pump’s capacity is optimised for use from April to October, assuming the pool is covered, insulated and sheltered from the wind. As an air-sourced heating unit, its efficiency depends on the amount of heat in the surrounding air – and when temperatures fall below freezing, performance and heat transfer are reduced. This means longer heating times, higher energy consumption and the risk of insufficient heating. If you want to maintain a warm pool during the coldest months of the year, we recommend supplementing with a thermostat-controlled electric heater that can provide extra heat independently of outdoor temperatures.
Low noise level – comfort at the poolside
The Swim & Fun inverter heat pump is developed with noise reduction in mind and produces only 35 dB at low load, measured from a distance of 1 metre. Instead of switching on and off at full power, the pump adjusts its speed gradually to maintain a stable temperature. The low noise level means you can stay by the pool with minimal disruption – even while the heat pump is running.
Inverter heat pump – modern and durable construction
The design of the heat pump combines a black powder-coated steel housing with durable ABS panels to provide optimal protection against wind and weather. Inside, it features a titanium heat exchanger, and other components are also resistant to both chlorinated and salt water. The selected materials ensure high operational reliability and long lifespan – while minimising the risk of refrigerant leaks and corrosion. A robust and stylish solution for long-term outdoor use without compromising appearance.
Achieve maximum heating efficiency with the right accessories
To get the most out of your heat pump, it is important to reduce heat loss – which mostly occurs at the water surface. A thermal cover is one of the most effective accessories as it both retains heat and uses sunlight to raise the water temperature. The pool's location also plays a role; placing the pool in a sheltered area reduces cooling and improves the performance of both the pump and the cover. Additionally, correct water circulation is essential for efficient heating – a bypass kit or variable-speed circulation pump can help ensure the recommended flow rate is maintained. The heat pump should also be placed in a location with good airflow and unrestricted access to fresh air, and it is best to avoid long, uninsulated hoses that can cause unnecessary heat loss on the way to the pool.
Easy maintenance for longer lifespan and optimum operation
Swim & Fun inverter heat pumps are designed with user-friendliness in mind and require minimal maintenance. Since the pump is a closed system, there is no need for regular servicing or refrigerant refills. Only basic steps, such as keeping the fan area free of leaves, are needed to ensure smooth operation.
Extended compressor warranty – 7 years of peace of mind
Swim & Fun inverter heat pumps are built to last, and we stand by their quality. The pump is fitted with an extra durable titanium compressor. That’s why we offer a 7-year warranty on the compressor – the heart of your heat pump. This means you can enjoy stable and efficient pool heating for years to come – with peace of mind. Investing in our heat pump means investing in durability, performance and comfort.

** The heat pump can operate below 0 °C (please check the exact value in the specifications) if it has been in use and maintained the water temperature throughout the bathing season. We do not recommend using the heat pump as the only heat source outside the bathing season. For this purpose, we suggest using an additional electric heater.
How to choose the right heat pump
The performance and capacity of a heat pump depend on the climate where you live. In cooler regions with shorter pool seasons, a more powerful pump is needed to reach the same water temperature as in warmer areas. The illustration shows climate zones to help you choose a model suitable for your location. For best results, we always recommend choosing a heat pump with slightly higher capacity – especially if your pool size is close to the recommended maximum. An undersized heat pump can result in longer heating times, higher power consumption, increased noise and faster wear. Some models can operate below freezing if they have already been in use and maintained temperature through the season – but starting an inverter heat pump in cold weather as the only heat source is not recommended.
