Swim & Fun also offers a range of water care products and accessories for hot tubs. Our filter systems have been especially selected with a view to the atmosphere surrounding a hot tub. Our hot tub packs are available both with and without chlorine and contain everything you need to keep the water fresh and inviting.
Inflatable hot tubs
Any Swim & Fun inflatable hot tub makes a great alternative to a conventional hot tub. It is easy to set up and you do not have to have it stood about all year.
Inflatable hot tubs are available in a variety of sizes, colours and materials, to suit your needs and wishes.
Inflatable hot tubs include the tub, a cover, a pump, 1 x ChemConnect™, filter cartridge VI, repair kit and air cushion protector
*We recommend that the hot tub is set up 2 days before use, as it contains 669 litres that are heated by approx. 1.5-2 degrees C per hour.
Hot tub accessories
A range of accessories is available for hot tubs. This includes a magnetic LED pool lamp, Spa & Pool vacuum cleaner, stainless steel hose clamps and Teflon tape.
Filter systems
Filter systems clean and circulate the water in pools up to 22,500 litres. The filter system is supplied with a 7-way top valve, pressure gauge, and filter platform for both filter and pump.
Pump
Swim & Fun offers pumps for many different pool sizes. One option is a surface skimmer pump that pulls the water through from the top of the pool and filters the water via the filter in the pump. An alternative is a circulation pump for filter systems.
Fittings
swim & Fun offers a range of fittings which each have their own advantages. Fittings include an electronic 3-way shutoff valve, pool hose adapter kits, hose connectors, and Teflon tape.
Hot tub water care
Water care products are necessary to keep the water clear and clean in the hot tub.
Spa Test strips
Spa Test strips are used to measure the pH balance, alkalinity and chlorine content of the water.
The water must be pH-balanced to achieve the optimum result from all water care.
The ideal pH value range is 7.0-7.4. Inside this range, the water is neutral, providing the optimal effect of chlorine addition. Balanced water also makes for optimal comfort, as the water feels soft and pleasant and skin and mucous membrane irritation is avoided.
CleanTab
CleanTab is a chlorine-based 5 gram effervescent tablet. They protect the water hygiene in hot tubs, whirlpools, and bubble baths with a water content of 500-1000 litres.
The tablets are placed in the skimmer or dissolved in a bowl of warm tub water with the circulation pump running at low level. Bathing can commence 15 minutes after the tablets are completely dissolved.
After bathing, it is important that you disinfect the water to prevent bacterial growth. Add 1 x CleanTab per 500 litres of water with the circulation pump running for 5 minutes. Use a test strip frequently to test the water chlorine content to ensure correct dosage.
Ideal pH value: 7.0 – 7.4
Inside the ideal value range, the water is neutral, providing the optimal effect of chlorine addition. At the same time, user comfort is optimal when bathing in balanced water, as skin and mucous membrane irritation is avoided.
pH value too high
Use pH Minus to adjust if you have hard water. This applies, for example, to most parts of Denmark! Excessive pH can make the water cloudy or milky and reduces the effect of chlorine. Red, irritated eyes after bathing is most often due to too low a pH value.
pH value too low
Too low a pH value acidifies the water and makes it act aggressively with any metal components. In case of too low pH value, add pH Plus. In Denmark, for example, the natural demand for pH Plus is not as strong as in Sweden, Norway, and Finland. The demand does typically arise in Denmark, however, after periods with lots of rain of if the family fills the pool with collected rainwater.
Spa Pipefix
Pipefix is for cleaning of hot tub pipe systems. Pipefix removes the biofilm that accumulates in the pipes over time. We recommend that you clean the pipe system 2-4 times per year.
Dosage: 500 ml per 1000 litres of water.
Spa Filterfix
FilterFix is used to clean filters in outdoor hot tubs.
Over time, spa filters accumulate grease, oils, and limestone. This will accumulate in the many small pores in the filter material slats. This clogs up the filter and the cleaning power drops significantly. A Spa FilterFix treatment dissolves all limestone and grease and the filter becomes clean again.
It is recommended to perform the clean every 2-3 weeks.
Dosage: Add 100 ml of FilterFix per 10 litres of water. Leave the filter to soak in the solution for at least 12 hours.
