This small heat pump is made for small garden pools and spa and ready out of the box. Very easy to install; connect the hoses and plug and play. It is made to be very silent, so you can rest assure that your neighbours will not hear it.

The Pico R heat pump is a freestanding model with a waterproof digital LCD display made easy to control the temperature with a reversible heating and cooling system. You can not only set the heat pump to heat to a desired temperature, but you can also set it to cool the water in your pool or spa at hot summer times.

The model has been engineered and designed to be highly suitable for freestanding pools and spa, where the emphasis is on low operating costs for an affordable acquisition price. Compared with an electric water heater you can save up to 80% on operating costs. In other words, for every 1kW consumed, 5kW are returned because of its high performing Toshiba compressor.

The heat exchanger in this model is made of PVC and titanium tubes that can withstand sustained exposure to swimming pool water – both chlorine and saltwater. Temperature working range goes from -5°C to +43°C. The heat pump is equipped with a rotating compressor and a heavy-duty shell, anti-UV treated and easy to maintain. Power supply 220-240V/1 PH/50 Hz. 1 fan. Environmentally friendly R32 (gas).

How to find the right heat pump
It is necessary to understand that the heat capacity and the performance of the pump depend on the climate you live in. Areas with cold climates have a shorter swimming pool season. Therefore, hot pool water in the north requires heat pumps with higher capacity than in medium to warmer climates.
